中广核大厦作为特大型国有企业中广核集团的总部大楼除满足高档写字楼的功能和技术要求以外，理应展现大型技术骨干企业所具有的严谨、稳健同时又紧扣未来的国家化企业形象。于是我们的选择是用建筑的型体和空间组织来表达建筑在节制和内敛之中蕴藏的能量，使总部大厦远观有清晰简明的形体轮廓，近观又有丰富多变的肌理层次。

大厦上部的写字楼部分严谨中富于微妙的变化，而裙楼部分又容纳了充满活力的公共空间，它既整合了内部办公人员的公共服务功能，又通过对公众开放的展示空间与外部的城市公共空间紧密结合。外墙采用金属质感的较深沉色彩进一步强化了大型企业总部的形象特征，同时也呼应深南路南侧深色的星河世纪主楼并与之一同构成中心区东大门的整体形象。

建筑立面肌理在简洁的体形之中显示了当代计算机、网络和多媒体技术为代表的数字化美学特征。摒弃了目前中心区大部分建筑惯用的立面传统表达方式，以单元化、标准化规模的重复以及变异组合发展出一整套建筑立面语言体系吗，建筑表面弃用大量的玻璃幕墙而回归到窗墙体系，以塔楼窗洞大小、方向的变化以及凹凸构成逐渐过渡到裙楼部分的网格裂变和延展并以此支撑起悬浮空中的大会议厅，餐厅以及公共展厅，用一种均质模块基础上的单元渐变以及局部剧变的空间构成体系暗示了核电作为未来能源支柱产业的形象特征。

As the headquarters building of the large state-owned enterprises CBC, CGNPC building not only meets the functional and technical demands of the high-grade office buildings but also represents the rigorous and steady national enterprise image which also sticks to the future as the large key enterprise. Therefore, our choice of using the construction shapes and space organization to express the potential internal power of the buildings in the aspects of moderation and convergence to make the headquarters building to have clear and simple silhouette from the distant observation and abundant texture level from the close observation.

The upper part of the office building has subtle changes in the rigorousness, while the podium building part contains the vital public space. It not only integrates the public service function for the internal office staffs, but also shows the tight connection with outside city public space by the exhibition of the open exhibition. The external walls further strengthen the characteristic image of the large enterprise headquarters by using the darker metallic color also responds/reflects the integration image of the east gate in the center area with the south side dark galaxy century main building at the Shennan road.
